Our featured cabin enabled a Geologist in Hampshire continue his search for essential raw materials to ensure safe land usage and the conservation of the environment. By branching out into the garden he found the space he needed to store delicate equipment and files.

Like many people, geoscientists work normal office hours, although evening and weekend work may be necessary to meet deadlines. Geoscientists involved in exploration, surveys and production may work very long hours and the level of concentration needed can only be achieved by having a quiet place to focus.
Working from a bedroom carries numerous distractions and a log cabin away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life means a professional workspace and efficient office.

This client designed his cabin to have a steeper roof angle so that he could archive years of paperwork. The solid wall space made it ideal for fixing the large amount of shelves needed for storage.

“We have a huge amount of box files and keeping them in the loft was inconvenient for day to day business. Now that we have the log cabin in the garden we can have an organised storage place”

The featured cabin measures 20m2 and features an internal wall and loft room. Nordic Woods team of experienced fitters designed and built a desk and shelving system that was based solely on the clients needs providing him with his ideal office.
