Running a mortgage brokerage from the garden
The idea of running their business from home appeals to many people. It is an ideal solution for many from brokers, consultants and business advisers to those making jewellery or crafts. Many types of businesses can be run from home using new communications technologies and the internet. One of the perks
of working from home is you can work whatever hours you want., but at the same time, this can mean that the phone rings constantly and the amount of paperwork you collect is infinite. While renting an
office may seem like an independent move, building a log cabin in the garden offers the freedom and advantages that come with owning a property. Having a space away from the main house provides the ultimate commute free workspace!
Utilising 14 square metres of his garden, Mr. Giambrone, a mortgage broker from Surrey, liberated one of his bedrooms and moved his business to the garden. Mr Giambrone designed his cabin to suit both his business and land and as well as having insulation in the roof he added under floor heating to ensure
comfort during the winter months. As a family man with four children, two dogs and four cats, space is at a premium
but with his relocation to the cabin he now has the breathing space required for his professional company. |
