A Nordic Room with Pitched Roof
This client met Nordic Wood at one of the exhibitions we attend in London. To shorten commute distance to their privately run business they wanted an office space in the garden. Creating two large desk areas this Nordic Room has now definitely shortened their commute distance!
The client had just renovated the main house and wanted to match up the Farrow & Ball colours their new windows has so Nordic Wood matched the colour while producing the Nordic Room glass elements in Denmark. This cabin was finished with the Smartpanel system, superior laminate flooring and cladded the outside in Siberian Larch wood. They opted for a slate roof to get that extra feel of quality build.
What the Client Has to Say
“I had decided to install a garden office and, after researching options on the web, I attended a few exhibitions. A number of companies offered a rather impersonal sales approach and typically offered a standard product to very similar designs. I found Nordic Wood to be genuinely different in their approach to insulation which was an important aspect for me. Olaf was very knowledgeable and was able to work with me to design exactly what I wanted. Once I was happy with the design I paid what I considered to be a very competitive price.
Construction started on the date promised and the whole unit was built in a timely manner. The carpenters were friendly and courteous. The workmanship is excellent and, 18 months on, shows no design of deterioration. If I needed another building I wouldn’t bother going elsewhere.”
