The Nordic Room is built in timber frame, fully insulated, for all-year-round use. The standard room is constructed of a timber frame, externally cladded with spruce tongue & groove timber in either a 'D' shaped or flat profile. All rooms come with a 27mm solid pine floor and an internal pine panel, in white wash or natural colour. Upgrade options for external cladding include Siberian Larch and Western Red Cedar.
ALL SCANDINAVIAN COMPONENTS
The Nordic Room components are all sourced from Scandinavia. A "Friggebod" is a very popular Scandinavian
product and around 15% of all Swedish houses has one in the garden. As a Scandinavian company we take pride in this!
We have found the best timber frames from a company in the south of Sweden. Internal panels and floors come from Swedish leading wood supplier, Siljan. Our A-rated top quality energy windows and doors are designed and produced in Denmark and subject to the DVC (Danish Window Certification). The windows are approved under the new statutory 2008 insulation requirements, and come with a 5 year guarantee. They have an excellent U-value depending on choice of glass.
 WORKING TO FIT YOUR REQUIREMENTS
The Nordic Room comes in 13 standard sizes with either a pent roof or a saddle roof. The pent roof version is designed to comply with Householder Permitted Development Rights, with a 2.5 roof height for positioning close to the boundary. Whether your Nordic Studio fits perfectly into lush green bushes, the corner of your garden or beside the pool, a timber frame structure enables you to choose the right view for the location and the best use of light for your garden room's function. You choose where you want to position the doors and windows!
