Like most buildings, a large amount of the cost is dependent on interior construction options. Our cabins are surprisingly reasonable in price.
Are log cabins hard to heat or cool?

Can I erect my own log cabin?
The methods of construction and materials provided by Nordic Wood Log Cabins allow anyone with "Home Handyman" skills and tools to erect our log cabins. Complete blueprints for each building are provided along with step by step instructions. It should be noted that certain roof support beams may be heavy enough to require extra manpower or mechanical lifting ability. Nordic Wood offer to control and help during the building process or to arrange for the total building and finishing.
Cannot find a standard plan that suits our needs. How much can Nordic Wood customise my log cabin?
75% of Nordic Wood Log Cabins are custom designed. Almost any design can incorporate a round log support system roof, although there are some limitations. The standard plans offered in our brochures and plan book are basic suggestions only. Our design team would be happy to modify any plan you may find in our database or start from scratch with your own ideas. We specialise in turning ideas into reality. |
